About The Artist

I was born on the 4 August 1962 in Sasolburg.

In High school, I had Biology as a subject. Like most boys very lazy I did not like to study, and in standard 9 (grade 11), I decided to take art in place of Biology.

I was any Art teachers nightmare because I did not like art and especially Art history.
My mother and friends help me with most of my practical art projects, and with their help I pass Art  in Standard 10 (grade 12).

After school I did my National service, and then studied Electrical Engineering.

About ten years after school I started building Artificial rock Water features, and had a successful part time business generating more income than my full time job as a Analyzer Specialist working for a chemical industry in Vanderbijlpark.

In 1997 we moved to Cape Town and I continued the part time business till 1999.

In 2006 we moved back to Gauteng and still working as an Engineer.
At the end of 2010, my wife wanted an original painting, and I could not afford it.
As a joke I made here an original acrylic painting, everybody (including myself) was impressed. Since then I have been painting in my spare time.

I paint because I like painting.:)
